The overall aim of this study is to investigate if our HRV-based seizure detection algorithm measured by small, wearable ECGdevices, is reliable as a seizure alarm system Our hypotheses is: Heart rate variability algorithms implemented into a smartphone application with signals received from a small, noninvasive, wearable and wireless ECG-device can reliably detect seizures real-time, and send seizure-alarms.
