The primary aim was to explore if a 24-weekpeer-mentor intervention can increase initial and long-term cardiac rehabilitation attendance. These condary aims were to explore whether a peer-mentor intervention improves lifestyle (diet andphysical activity) and psychological outcomes(self-efficacy, anxiety, depression, quality of life) among older vulnerable patients with ischemic heart disease.

Population: 117 ældre, sårbare patienter mediskæmisk hjertesygdom fra Region Hovedstaden iDanmark.
Centrale variable: Randomisering til intervention(peer-mentor støtte), Deltagelse i Hjerterehabilitering, kost, fysisk aktivitetsniveau,self-efficacy, angst, depression, livskvalitet samt karakteristika for populationen (fx køn, alder,diagnose, komorbiditet).
