Equal employment opportunities for persons with and without disabilities is a key
aspiration, but has been difficult to realise in
practice in most countries. In the Danish case, the employment gap between persons with and without disabilities is 30 percentage points and the gap has remained constant for several decades. This
project will examine the recruitment practices and selection preferences of companies towards persons with disabilities. The
project will measure the actual impact of disabilities on invitations for job interviews and subsequent recruitments through a field experiment and combine findings with in-depth case studies of
decision-making structures in companies. This type of research has not been conducted in Denmark before
